CELEBRITY AUTOGRAPHS

Most of us have a handful of celebrities that we would love to get an autograph from. Mine include all the members of the band Bon Jovi, the actor Johnny Depp, and Denver Broncos kicker Jason Elam. Yet getting celebrity autographs isn't something you can just do because you want to. Even if you make it to a concert or filming of shows there is often very little chance of that type of interaction.

Don't rule out it ever happening though as you may just get lucky. In many instances it comes down to being at the right place at the right time. Make sure you have a pen and paper ready too. Of course if you have a photo that is great too. If the celebrity knows they will be offering autographs they often carry photos with them as well. Some celebrities are very free with signing autographs while others find it to be a task they don't want to be part of.

Sometimes there are events hosted where you will be sure to meet the celebrity and get an autograph. These are very exciting events but you had better plan to wait in line for a very long time. You aren't going to be the only one interested in that particular celebrity. Some events including Country Jam makes sure that as many people get the autographs they want as possible.

Sometimes you can get one from a fan club if you join as well. Many of them have a membership fee. One of the many perks is to receive an autograph from the celebrity. Most of us will likely have to settle for a celebrity autograph from a different method though. We may have to buy one from someone else that would rather than the money than the autograph.

Some of them are extremely affordable while others are outright ridiculous. Still, some collectors and true die hard fans are willing to pay a premium price for that original signature. There is also the problem though of people forging the autographs of various celebrities. With the right tool it can be copied well enough that it can appear quite original to the naked eye.
